Myself, Wade(true-king), Tom(First Catch), and Andrew(Fishing addict) hooked up the boat and took a breezy inshore trip.  We headed out to three mile in 2 footers, and tried for some kings.  We freelined white trout but couldn't get a single bite. As we were sitting there, we see a nice tarpon get hooked up only a couple hundred yards away.  Second jump, he was gone.

After that, we decided to troll around for a little. An hour later, still nothing. Then we see spanish and ladies bustin about a mile from us.  We chased them around for hours and had a blast.  Then Tom throws in a slammer and gets hooked up immediately.  Drags peelin up to the surface. We then see it and its a nice red. Got it to the boat and turned out to be right at 30''.

We then pack it up and go to some sound docks.  Drifted around those the rest of the day and produced some nice fish.  We all bumped some gulp! on the bottom and caught about 6-8 flounder.  They were mostly too small, but we got 2 keepers. Tom then decides to catch a grouper. He threw some gulp and brought in a 10in gag.  Now Wade throws in and hooks up to a small red. Right around 15-16''. Then he gets a keeper flounder and a trout. There's his slam.

We pack it up and head home. Wade's got the pics, so he'll put them up tonight

Total catch: 2 reds, 15-20 spanish/ladies, 7-8 flounder, 1 grouper, 4-5 trout

Nope! The moments as I was trying to lift the trout into the boat were tense!
